Default Brights

Is there a way to make the stock brights...less bright? Or just buy bulbs with less brightness? Like so I could drive around with them on at night? I think the tC looks really hot with both sets of lights on, but I dont want to blind other drivers on the road.

it wouldn't work because the high beams dont have a cutoff like the low beams do.

So what would you then in those times where you'd actually WANT high beams? Then what?

Don't sacrafice functionality for what you consider pleasing aesthetics.

Just drive with your brights on during the day. Like so it won't bother anyone? Besides, that way I can spot you when you wander into Waterford. But at night, please, just stay out in the boonies.

you could just re-aim them so they don't up so much, but then what would be the point of having high beams?

I'm not sure it would be so easy to just reaim the high beams. They're all in the same housing and the housing only has one adjustment screw (that I noticed) ... could be wrong. I'm sure someone could though, but I don't think it would be a simple task.

True, I dont think you can aim one set. They are fixed in the housing and the entire housing moves together.
