Default Broken Window

Hey SL, the other night my car was broken into via the passenger side window. Anyone know the price to replace it if I were to pay out of pocket? Also, does anyone know any places in Las Vegas for me to call to get a price check as well?

The person that broke into my car didn't steal anything whatsoever, they did take my backpack and threw it outside though.

Yeah, pay out of pocket. The cost to fix wont exceed your deductible. Also, you may want to check some other auto glass places. It will definately be cheaper than the dealer if you are looking to save some bucks.

do you have glass coverage with your insurance? if you have a low comp deductible than you can use that also and it won't raise your rates. i have used safelite here in vegas a couple times and they will come to you. i have only used them through my glass coverage which i have $0 deductible.

Call mobile glass people around your area and get quotes. That way they come to you (while your at
work, etc.) and you're not inconvenienced too much other than your pocket. Also, they usually aren't
that much more expensive than taking your car in to a shop. GL

Looking at about 300 to 500 depending on the shop. it's not cheap, but what can you do.

Just got my window replaced this morning by Elite Auto Glass around north Vegas, they came by my house around 10am and finished 45mins later. The cost was 212.95, he cleaned up the glass for me. The only downside is that I have to get my window retinted to 35%, but the old place I went to get it tinted is closed now so I have to find another place. :/

^^Cool deal. I didn't think it would cost more than $200-$220.

save yourself the headache for a later time and glass coverage with $0 or $20 deductible. leaving here you are bound to get hit wit a rock truck. you could also lower your comp coverage to $100 deductible payment will not go up very much,
