So wait, they broke your back window to get at something in your front seats?

Worst. Thief. Ever.

Just roam around town looking for someone with a bloody, torn shirt and an mp3 player.

Why two threads?

Sucks to hear about that though. Hope you find out who did it and give them what they deserve.

Maybe the thief will be stupid enough walking around and using the mp3 player. Then again, if he did what can you do?

Sux to see that man. Next time don't leave anything in the open...not even a jacket (coz they'd think "maybe there's a wallet in the pocket", etc.).... Lesson learned, eh? And get an alarm!

Dude, that's sucks. I always empty my car out with all loose things (cash, iPod, cell phone charger, anything that might prompt a break-in) before I leave my car. All I leave in there at all times is a pen and a pad of paper. Oh, and some ketchup packets and napkins. lol

godness that's a stupid thief..

it would've been easier to break the front window... as a matter of fact, i think the front window actually costs less to fix.. :?

he must either really hate you.. or really stupid... and i think it's the second one.

either way, it sucks that it happened

On a side note, I dig the rims, but you've got to lose those lug nuts and get something more discrete.

bunch of retarded thieves lately...

This person breaks into your car to get to the front seats by smashing the rear? Wouldn't it just make more sense to smash the front and just ****** it?

Sucks that had to happen, hope everything goes smoothly with the insurance for repairs.

But then if you (the thief) need to take apart the dash, you have a pile of broken glass that you're sitting in. They break the small window for less noise and less carnage and enough room to reach in with a crow bar to unhitch the lock. I've had it done to me a few times.

What about the OP who left ish in plain sight? It sux that it happened but I do not feel pity (not that you're asking for any) for people who leave valuables in plain view. This is why people should either use the glove box/center cubby for storage OR just take the valuables with you. (Which is what I do.) Yes, it's very tedious to take everything of value in and out of the car, but in the long run it will save you from broken windows, #$@*ed up center consoles, and stolen goods.

I hate to say it, but the wheels alone and your lack of having tint (too easy to see in there) are probably what caused this bs. Jealousy. It was likely a kid that likes your car but knows it isn't obtainable for him.

Tint your car and get an alarm. When I put up my sun blocker mechanism (?) in the front window, my car turns pitch black inside. Not worth it for a thief to break into a, from what they know, stock car with no goodies.
