im decided what to do, though i called scion today and they said there are no'09's in the pipeline so the may release date was not true.

anyone else heard anything else?

im buying within the week if the 09s are not out just because im not gonna wait for just updated fabric

 

Wait for the 09, they are just around the corner. If you get an 08 now and the 09s come out a few weeks later your depreciation value will be really bad.

 

who said may is not true? and what scion did you call? corporate or a dealership? the press release said may, i'm inclined to believe them unless they announce a delay.

 

yeah just wait for the 09, not just because of the seat fabric but just because its a year ahead

 

I have 2 on the way to my dealership now. They should be here in about a week and a half. They started allocating the 09 models in the middle of last month. I would definately wait just for the re-sale value. Think about it. In 2010, your 2008 model will be 2 years old but an 09 would only be 1 year old. It doesn't matter that you could have bought both of them in the same month....

 

^^^ any idea of any changes in the 09 from 08? ( just curious since the 08 was few minor ones)

 

just seat fabric was mentioned in the press release.

 

might as well hold out for a couple weeks for the '09..tC has alwasy been a good seller so it should be at dealerships soon

Exact quote from the dealer release I got....

"The 2009 tC is equipped with all black fabric seats, a slight change from the silver highlighted seats found in the 2008 model. The tC Spec Package has been discontinued with the 2009 model year. 2009 model year production began April 1st."

In case you didn't know, the 2009 models are going to cost the same as the 2008 models also.

 

Talked to dealership two days ago when I bough my Yaris and they arrive off the boat in Tacoma in a week and to the lot in two weeks........then others are gonna be shipped across the US from Tacoma and San Francisco I think he said.....

I'd wait for the 09s- I like the look of the all black seat fabric better and like everyone else said, think of the resale value

 

hmm so just diffrent seats, ehh. and im glad they ditched the spec, you pay like 1000 less? and you lost like 3k worth of stuff that made it look a hell of alot better lol

im doing the lip spoiler after just because it can be had for so much cheaper but i want the ge kit to be installed at port

 

might as well wait for the 09, it's only like a few weeks away of being released!!
