I have an 06 scion tc with 42000 miles on the car and my compressor is starting to mess up. It makes the car vibrate and makes this ticking noise that drives me crazy. Has anybody else had this problem or know what i can do to at least get rid of the ticking noise? [/i]

 

the compressor is dying, sorry to tell ya. I've seen 06's and 05's that the compressor just started to go. Unfortunately you're outside the 3/36 warranty, so it'll cost about $900 or so to fix.
