c pillar..
any one want to help me or instruct me as to how to install this? i tried looking at mandos interior strip but doesnt really deal with the c pillar.. any one know how to take it out so i can put this sucker in ?
what exactly are you installing? If its a c-pillar bar.. then I would like to know too.. I have a Megan c-pillar bar for my tC, and I attempted to try to take apart the interior, but it always felt like I was going to break something.
From the way it feels its like you hafta disassemble the entire back seat area to get the trim off from around the windows.

Im pretty sure you have to take the rear panel off in order to get the c pillar bars off. The rear panel can come out without removing the rear seats but its a pain in the 4ss to take out and then put back in properly. You might have to take out part of the hatch area too, but I cant remember from when I last took apart the tC over the summer. good luck.

It's fun!!!
One thing to make sure of is that any screws in the pieces are removed before popping the panels off. Most of the rear panels are held on by plastic tabs. Just make sure to have clearance of other panels before popping loose.
I took the panels off from the rear speakers, and the trunk piece to be on the safe side and not damage anything
Take your time and go slow, or come over and I will help you if you want to make the drive? I live in Naperville

Not hard to cut if you have the right bit. Getting it to look centered is another story.
Are you going to keep your tC for a long time, or trade it in say in a few years?
