I have the cai set up. Very happy with it. Like the feel,power and sound. If you want to regain the loss of low end by having this set up then install a throttle body spacer. Im sure you'll like the sound. Its twice as loud as just having a plain intake.

i just installed my fujita cai. so far i like it how it is. Like what chrisNOF said, Liking "the feel, power and sound" sounds hella good with the tsudo n1 catback. pic of it installed:

ya i agree i live in alaska and i drive all year with a CAI on my matrix
i even had the the fender liner loose and still no problems
basically its just common sense..

I had a full CAI and hydrolocked it.

Switched to a short ram and didnt notice any differnce at all

same sound,same mpg,everything

the people who say "hot air intake" make me laugh a little, our car is not going to gain much HP from the cold air vs hot air. There isnt enough of a temp differance.

Also the full CAI pipe is on the inside where the motor is and the pipe gets hot,so it dosnt help there either

i believe hot air actually improves mpg better than cold air because it makes your fuel mixture leaner.

People who hydrolock are dumbásses, btw. You have to be pretty fkn stupid to submerge your air intake. Southern California has been flooded all week, but I managed to stay out of trouble because I have something called common sense.
