I have actually had mine for about a year now...I just have not been on here for awhile...plus i was without my own computer for awhile when the screen went up. There is actually a dealership that still has one though not far from me.


Has anyone had any problems with the radio? I can no longer switch over to the navigation and the other day i went to ipod mode and it would not play but my ipod works.

Ah, I see... I assumed that you were back on here because you just bought it but either way, welcome back! Not really sure about the radio problem - I haven't had problems yet other than not being able to read it because of the glare from the sun on sunny days (anybody have any solutions for that? I've tried adjusting the screen brightness but didn't have much luck - maybe I just need to mess around with the settings a little more?)

SaraJane, do you have your windows tinted? When I had my windows tinted it helped a lot! But I had to take mine off, du to the lovely officer that pulled me over for it . Now that I do not have the tint I have the glare issue too, I am going to get my windows re-tinted to help with that, heat and just cause it looks HOT! hehe

I was wondering if that would help. I've been thinking about getting mine done but haven't decided whether or not I really want to - never drove a car with tinted windows before and I'm not sure if I'd like it or not and don't want to spend the money if I don't.

Rolton - looks awesome! I'm really diggin the headlights. Are they just painted and did you do them yourself? Was thinking about doing something with the tails on mine if it isn't too difficult.

Thanks, I had a shop do them, didn't want to screw up the rings. As for raised, they are difficult. The Guy cracked them wham trying to get em apart, they can't be backed like the headlights.

sarajanel, tinted windows is great! My boyfriend and I have tinted windows on every car we have or had. I even helps with the heat of the sun keeping it out a little. It looks sexy too. I actually had to take my tint off, a month after I had it put on I got pulled over and busted, i was illegal so off it came. When i get them re-tinted I will not go as dark because on the blue it makes it look super dark and you can spot the blue from a mile away lol Go for it I think you will like it.

SaraJanel, That looks HOTT! Where did you get the matching paint and the scion decal for the door? Did you do it yourself?

Thanks! I really like how it turned out. I did most of it myself but I had help getting started from a few people who have painted their cars before (taking my car apart was the most difficult part because I was afraid I was gonna break something... lol... I did run into a few problems but I think the results were worth it).

I used the Metal Specks DupliColor spray paint in Ocean Blue. It isn't a perfect match but it's pretty close (under the right lighting you can tell that the color of the car has a little more of a greenish tint to it but otherwise the average person probably won't notice unless they know to look for it).

The decals are just a bunch of promotional stuff that I got from a car show at a Toyota dealership and I just trimmed them to fit inside the round part of the door handles (they don't even have to be trimmed to fit perfectly because the silver rings pop out from the backside if you remove the handle from the door and I just applied the stickers and put the rings back on to cover up the edges). Easiest and cheapest mod ever... lol
