well I am thinking about purchasing a jet ski.... but I was wondering if the tC is going to be able to pull it or if I should just trade it in and get a truck to haul the jet ski?

Keep in mind if i get a truck... I will be keeping it in the Toyota family and getting the new Tacoma X-Runner( thts my #1 option)... soo let me know what you guys think

I know i can prolly tow it from one place to another but I'm pretty sure I'ma have trouble getting it in and out of the water.. ( the jet ski for the slow ppl ) lol jk but ye. thnx for the input

No, Scions are not designed for towing anything, it is in your manual and on the Scion website.

I'd hate to see a tC with a trailer hitch. But if you decide to, look into putting a trans cooler on it.

how about you save the "jet ski money" for something more important that might come along in life? you could rent a jet ski at the dock.. and not have to worry about towing..

the thing is when u go and rent a jet ski is 95 buks for an hour ... u can finance 1 for about 150 a month for however many hours u want.. i mean sure im not goin to ride it in the winter time.. but since im in florida,,, its hot more then its cold

Yup, buying an entirely new truck AND jet ski AND towing gear just doesn't make sense just for a few hours of jet ski fun

+1 to that. I'm actually might be looking to buy a POS truck sometime in the near future to haul my bike to the track. If you look, you can find one for $500-$1000. Get liability only insurance on it and your set.
