hey.. can you fit the hood in the back??? anybody try it, i dont feel like taking off my hood and trying out

 

One ? Why do you need to put your hood in your hatch? It was put on the front of the car for a reason, so why would you wanna carry it around in the hatch.

 

maybe he's getting a cf hood and wants to know if he can take it home....?

Well, CF hoods normally comes in a box/crate, so that definitely won't fit. I'd wager that the hood alone won't fit either.

 

yeah.. maybe im getting a cf hood from someone and i was gonna pick it up.. im not gonna pay for shipping when i can go pick it up lol

 

i'd say it would fit since you can put ur back seats down and just leave the hood leaning towards 1 side

 

of course it will fit if u fold the seats forward .. if i can fit the hugeee box that my cat bac kexhaust came in im sure u could fit the hood in there.

Yes. It can. I know for a fact.

My buddy drove from SoCal to Vegas with his stock hood in the hatch after getting his carbon fiber one on his tC. I took it out myself and it's now in my garage.
Just put down the rear seats and it easily fits in.

or u can find a friend with a xB and ask him to help u out.

If all else fails you could just tie it to the back and drag it home. J/K I would venture to say that the hood would not fit in the hatch, but if you get the chance you might give it a shot.

they miss your post cause thay see an xB as your avitar and think your talking about an xB hood. and since your friend is using your garage as a storage space for his hood for his tC....mind telling me where you live?
