Default Car Covers? Anyone have one/like it?

Forgive me if this is an often posted question. I searched and kept coming back with like 4500+ hits which, by he titles, had nothing to do with my question.

We're about to add a tC to the family and unfortunatly my fiance and i live in a one car garage apartment. I was thinking of getting her the car cover offered through Scion to keep the tree pollen, etc. off the paint.

Does anyone have this cover?

Does anyone have another brand?

Good idea? Bad Idea? Opinions? Thoughts? Answers? Bueller?

I have the car cover offered through Scion. I like it for the most part. I'm still not convinced its 100% water proof though. It rained a couple time when I had it on the car and when I lifted it off there were still a few wet spots on the glass and trunk and hood. Hmm. But, for the most part it does its job.

It can if you accidentally let the elastic band drag over the hood when you are taking it off. Did that before. But wax got it out.

i figure these things to be more of a hassle.

i mean if you're preventing tree pollen and stuff, then when u take off the cover, where u gonna put it? your trunk or in yer house? the covers filled w/ pollen and crap now.

i think it's rather more convenient to go w/o one and if ever yer car gets all this crap on it, just go for a wash, or wash it yerself w/ a bucket and a towel.

I've got one, love it.

I've got a Black Sand Perl and being a former auto detailer I know how much of a pain it is keeping black looking nice and swirl free.

The car cover is part of that. When the car is outside at work the cover is on to keep tree sap and pollen off it. When it's in the garage it's on to keep the dust off. The cover plus the full FinessIt + Klasse and the occasional Meguiars quick detailer have kept me from having to wash the car for three months and it looks like it should be in the showroom.

So, get the cover, it's worth it. Even more so if you have a darker color scion
