Default Car wont start/doesnt turn over HELP

I just tried to program a key fob for my 05 Scion tC, now my car alarm is activated and wont deactivated

my imobilizer light is blinking like normal, but when i put my grey head key inside the ignrition it turns solid then goes out, i turn the key and it does start or crank.

How do i deactivated the alarm and get my key to work again??? Any help I would appreciate, not sure of what aftermarket alarm I have

did you try stepping on the brake, usually that what some have to do...i think if you just put the key in the ignition,it would go out,but then again different for different alarm systems

How did you try to program the key fob exactly? Is this a brand new key?
