Default Carbon Canyon Flint Mica photoshoot (sorry BSP boys...)

Yeah boys and girls, it's another Flint Mica photoshoot...

Took a drive thru Carbon Canyon this weekend and decided to shoot some photos while the sun briefly came out... (why not? the hills aren't on fire anymore...)

...notice the slightly charred CALL BOX...

and that's not the worst of it all, most of the area was burnt all the way down to the tree stumps...

well, all the burnt surroundings got a little depressing so I changed scenery...

Trying to keep a daily driver clean is a pain the rear...

The reason why it's called Flint MICA...

... actually went thru about 30+ photos and just went with the best ones to keep it concise...

Go ahead and chime in...

Looks great! I think you need to hit those calipers with some black paint too.

if you drive into the housing areas, there are far better pics that can be taken. although i know some roads in there are not very friendly to lowered cars.

Thanks for the compliments...

Cap'n... I keep changing my mind on what color to paint my calipers, so they're undecided for now... any other ideas other than black?

...yo Doug, what happened to your car?

Infinite... sorry, the RS3's aren't for sale, but if they were, I would probably charge too much and they would never sell.

jBoRiCuA... those rims took the better part of a three day weekend to prep and paint.

ikonXone... I actually thought about heading into some of the housing areas, but everywhere I went it was dark and gray and I needed some color for contrast. and you're right about some of the roads not being "drop-friendly".

Just like Flint said, I didn't paint the sides of the waterfall, that's just the lighting making it look brighter... but if you're asking about the middle/center, it's really just DupliColor Flat Flack rattle can... it's a perfect match for the stock black plastic that most of the dash is made of.
