well all my parents friends and teachers were right.
im on a frikking role between me and others ____ing my car up.
heres the story:
pulling out of a parking lot behind some dude in a gold escalade bumping his music. he's missed about 5 opportunities to pull out and go but hes staying there easing forward starting and stopping every few inches i guess. im starting to get anxious and ____ed off and start to ease forward also.
he finally decides to go and starts pulling out so i follow him and i start checking for oncoming traffic too navigating around the huge ___ a pillars but i forgot the most important spot
RIGHT IN FKING FRONT OF ME and as im looking forward to go i hear a BAM. i know what it is but i dont wanna believe it. i see the guy in front of me still looking like he's gonna jet so i just sit in my car waiting to see what he does. i hear him put it in park so i get out.
hes calm as can be and i get out like ____ and i walk over to him and he's just like whats up and im like uhhh i hit your car and he's like its alright we good? and im like uhh i think, do we need to exchange information and he;s like nah its no biggie. i pull to the side of the exit lane check my car again and examine the damage and try to figure out wtf just happened and how i could make such a dumbass mistake. called my dad and he gets up and we shoot the ____ for a while.
so basically i just gotta get this fixed and wait for whats next

do you think a new bumper would be needed or could this be patched up since all of the body is still intact.
or which would be cheaper.

You had two choices and you picked the right one.. I wouldn't of went through insurance either.. too much ____ to go through + insurance is going to try to ____ you over

 

Have more patience!

Bumper covers are relatively cheap fixes, and they are easy to remove and install. Feel lucky about that!

 

find a use SW bumper. Cheapest way to fix it.

 

I vote body kit bumper. Buddy Club would look nice with only the front bumper done.

i was like wtf, he was so chill. like the drug dealers that you see in the movies
only damage was to my bumper though so thats probably why he was relaxed.

but idk i might go get the buddy club kit but i think the g2 combat style is callin my name.
i really wanna try taking it to get molded back to one peice since its basically like a hanging chad on my bumper and not a complete hole. its not even touching the crumple bar(styrophome peice of sh)

 

for the g2 you will need the whole kit so it wont look stupid though.

on my budget a bodykit would be out of question im just gonna fix my bumper and get lip kit.
back to my orig question, would it be easier to get the hole fixed or to just buy a new bumper

 

OEM bumper is $220 from the dealer, paint would be 2-300 for no matter what bumper you get.

 

175 at carson toyota but i bet shipping might be a pricey... i know trdsparks wont ship that item

Maybe the back bumper was 220 and the front was 200...I don't remember, I know I paid ~420 for both bumpers, unpainted, from Avondale Toyota in Arizona.

You could also try to find one at a salvage yard.

Bro. same exact poop happened to me. Literly word for word. Freakin guy moved into traffic but must have freaked out and slammed his brakes. I lightly tapped him. I wasn't moving fast but his car was a jeep and my cars lowered so he got no damage but his exhaust scratched the poop out of my bumper. I still gotta fix it, hopefully soon. But yea. That looks like a new bumper cover. Your damage looks alot worse then mine does.

 

ill keep yall posted on the story but for now im gonna put in a hell of a lot more hours and get this fixed. and if im lucky ill be able to keep the bumper and put it on my wall as a trophy or may even try my hand at body work since its already fked.
