Check Engine Light ** Cant seem to figure out the issue
So my check engine light turned on as I was going home from work last week. Went to autozone to get the codes pulled and got two codes
P0455
P0441
I knew it was going to be something that had to do with the gas cap because back 2 yrs ago i took it to the dealership for the same reason when i had warranty and they just replaced my gas cap and never had a check engine light till now...
1st try: I cleaned the gas cap (wiped it, and around the gas tank hose insert) and discounted my positive battery to clear the code. Check engine light comes back next day.
2nd try: Swapped out my gas cap with my other toyota since the gas caps were exactly the same since the one at autzone one didn't fit. Took the car to autzone to get code cleared last night around 8pm. Drove to work at 7am, got off at 3pm and check engine light came back on.
Now I cant seem to figure out the issue. Friend told me to call toyota to get a diagnostics done since they well tell me exactly whats wrong but they want $90 which they are crazy (but he told me he got his done for free). Car has 51xxx miles on it, year 2008.
Can someone please help me out...

OK, so I did a quick search on the codes on SL and came up with some hoses connected to the intake. Can anyone help me point out the hoses to check? (pics would be great)
Also a lot of the guys just ordered a new cap, should i do that even though i swapped caps off my other toyota vehicle?

I would do the easy first. Check all hoses if you don't find anything order a new gas cap from TRD. I know you said you tried one from another car but that doesn't mean the other one is sealing like a new cap. I had the same issue and a new cap from TRD fixed it.
Which trd gas cap are you referring too? I will most likely head over to the toyota dealership tmw to get a new gas cap.
