i like how you tinted your taillights like that. wen i first saw your car on cardomain, i went crazy cuz your black wit chrome lip rims stood out so much and that was my original idea

 

the low beams are bulbs from ebay... i believe they were ... $20 bucks... there the closest to HID i could find... 7,000k

 

exactly what i'm doing with my stock rims! did you do the wheels yourself? or get them done?

 

there friggin LIGHT BULBS of course damn, can u beleive people now en days?

 

yeah.. painting the rims took about a day but i should have taken some more time on it... they turned out really well for just a day of painting/drying.... i plan on touching it up again in the near future when i have more time

Sanding was the most time consuming because thats one of the most important steps

 

i like it, whats ur problem? I like the look of one HID-ish bulb and one stock bulb. Now move along loser

What kind of paint is it that you used on the wheels ?

 

i want the same exact thing i like the stock rims but i want the color scheme also does any one know who makes the stock rims i want to get the center caps for them rather then the scion ones it has now

I went to google.com and just typed something about DIY painting rims

that is basically what i did... I just taped off what I didn't want painted

Looks great! When I repaint mine, I'm going to do them the way you did, the right way. And yeah, close up pics would be cool.

 

i love them please post some really close up pics also list the paints you used to do it and also show close up on the tape marks on the bottom of the spokes intrested to see how those look

As opposed to the common "head light with tulip bulb" mod.

 

Wow that looks really nice. I was thinking about doing the same sorta thing, but maybe having them powder coated instead.

The sanding must have been fun with all those spokes
