The problem with th einternet is everyone is an expert. If people post up bogus info and someone comes along and reads it, they are going to believe it.
Someone out and about shopping would see this car and be like wow, that is pretty good.
If I was looking for a car I know nothing about (example, a pontiac G6), if I go to a dealership and ask for info and it says it has 268 HP why wouldnt I believe them?
When someone lies, they are a liar and have lost all integrity and respect. When they use percieved integrity and knowledge (ie a dealership) and post bogus info to the consumer, then ridecule in the same setting should be expected. But to say someone deserves to get ripped off because they were lied to is proposterious.
Just my opinion tho.
so say im looking around for a tC...i see one that says 268whp...neat...the rest say 160...why does this one have 100+ more? hmm...lets SEARCH and find out. common sense.

But your assuming everyone spends time on forums looking at this type of stuff. My wife didnt even know what a web forum was until i showed her one.

So if I am out and about shopping and decide to check the internet and came across this particular tC would I continue on? Its truly hard to say.
I can show you a web forum where people are claiming 350WHP on superchargers stock. I called them out as well. I guess my point is, not everyone is as web or car knowledgeable as those who post on here.

The person who posted the sale is an automall. It's one of those places that "does the hard part for you". They post it on ebay and a bunch of other sites for a fee, then contact you when offers are made. Most of the time the sales guy over the phone won't have a clue about the cars he is posting the auction for so if anything, he probably copied the info from another auction. Either that or the owner of the car is a dick and is trying to screw someone.

Here is my message for him:
"Since when does the tC comes with 268hp? With no Supercharger or Turbo? :s Weird tC u got. Better not sell it. It's a monster in stock form, I bet since it's a collectible item, it must cost 1,000,000 gazillion dollars! "

But of course, also don't let out the Flux Capacitor, and Nuclear Fusion Mini Reactor under the gigantic speaker box.

Guys it just couldn’t be a turbine engine as those would have an exponential hp curve and would be way more then 268hp.

I think what we have here is a second engine thus why we have the trd cv axels and the large box in the back… that box is the second engine, therefore this car is 4 wheel drive (an engine in the front for the front tires and the back engine for the back tires).

Or we could be wrong and the box is just a huge bomb, and they’re just trying to appeal the terrorists.

I could see the 268 being a typo on 168 but the TRD CV axles??? wtf?

I don't know how they haven't change it yet. With all those questions we have sent up. They still haven't changed it.
