Default CleanFMtC's picture/progress thread! New photos page 2 7/21/12

So i figured that id make one of these since i finally got my wheels!
I've been around since may of 05 when my brother used to drive the tC, just made a username last year his username was on here was 05FMtC. then last year in feb. i got my license and the car was parted out then given to me, by november 2010 i got a set of coilovers and slammed the car again, couldnt stand it on TRD springs, haha. January rolls around and i see the GB for the 17x9 rpf1's and i hopped on those, finally recieved them today...

currently i have: TRD exhaust, TRD cold air intake, TRD quickshifter, TRD rear swaybar, Buddy Club N+ Spec damper coilovers, OEM GFX front lip, HIC rear roof visor, VRD fogs, VRD grille set, DDM tuning 6k HIDs, Eclipse AVN 2454 in dash, JL audio components, JL audio e4300 amp, JL audio 10w1v2 sub, 17x9 et35 Enkei RPF1's w/ some 205/40 Federal SS 595's, Drag forged titanium extended open ended lug nuts(they were the only 12x1.5 lugs they had in stock and i got them for $40) and im pretty sure im missing a few things.

and sorry about the ____ty iPhone pics, i have some older pics of the car but im lazy to dig those up in my computer.

heres some pictures:

the wheel condom:

one of the wheels:

pic of the stretch: (not too wild)

needs to be lowerrrr!:

IMG_0565 by KTaunque, on Flickr

clearance: (need to roll the fenders and throw some spacers on there)

IMG_0564 by KTaunque, on Flickr

side view: (looks funny with just the rears on)

IMG_0561 by KTaunque, on Flickr

fitment: (needs spacers!)

the stretch: (the perfect amount i needed)

the other 2 wheels should be on by friday night and the car will be going lower then also. the tire shop accidentally sold one of my tires to a previous customer who had a defective tire, the guy who placed the order on my tires was supposed to order 5 instead of 4 so i will be getting the other 2 mounted and balanced tomorrow but i wont have time to put them on til friday night. stay tuned for more updates!

Well worth the wait! Wheels look super awesome.

Are you planning on adding a 20mm spacer in the rear to make it look flush?

little update: lowered the fronts today and threw my camber bolts on... it rubs on turns and dips and my bumper drags going in and out of my driveway.. im really not content with the ride height but i cant do much about it, my driveway is ridiculously effed up. and my front passenger side fenders paint chipped off when i was bending up the tab w/the screw holding onto the bumper. heres some pics.

haha yeah i love mine! and i got rid of rubbing by stiffening up the suspension, which means ill probably go even lower now!
redline: im planning on just getting the rs1 rear lip and thats it for the lip kit, i would probably have the sides ripped off in a few hours.

Lovin the car bro, clean, the route I'm trying to go right now. That combo of the OEM front lip and an RS2 rear lip would be sick. I was debating on doing that as well but everyone is just ahead of me. Keep it up!

working on getting a new front lip, sides and rear now, also going to try and find some 35 series tires for the fronts so i can lower the car more but this will have to do for now.
