if you look back a few pages, you have scion owners bashing a 750+ whp rsx

and i was not one of theme i cannot be accountable for what others on my side team have said, just the same as you cant be,

Love your car if you love it and just realize that there will ALWAYS be someone who has more work and money into their car. (looks better and is faster too) There will be jealous haters. There will be people that just don't know... you know what I'm saying. That's LIFE!

If someone doesn't like your TC or your RSX WHO CARES!? Go PROVE it's the better car.

Both cars are awsome platforms. It all depends on the driver, since I have seen both sides opf the story. I have friends with RSX Types S and also tCs. Both good drivers and both win and lose some times. Since I have a tC, I can't say that the tC is better cause no one will believe me, they'll say I'm bias.

 

I'd perfer a tc over a base rsx, and a rsx-s over a tc. End of Story.

 

i dont kno much about the rsx....truthfully idk kno much about alot of other cars....but i do kno that wen anyone is tryin to fix up w/e type of car they have there goin to want it to be fast and want to see who they can take and who they cant...its just the whole reason that anyone would spend thousands of $ on parts....and its understandable to have ppl upset if they have lost to something they think they shouldnt have even if the other person has the faster car even if they have or havnt spent more money in it then them.....its all for fun anyway...from wat iv read on this site even the tC ppl can talk trash about the same kind of car that they are driving....and from wat iv read on the rsx site it seems that they have a real hatred to the scion also....idk if its bc the scion does have the same potential to be fast just like them or wat the deal is?....but im sure everyone has a certain type of car that they are threatened by or just dont like bc of personal experiences and i dont see that changing anytime soon!

 

Give the guy a few more reverse gears and that rsx will be a champ.

I specifically said FWD. I'm pretty sure most of us did. I think over 400whp on any FWD is going to be hoppin' like a lowrider without some heavy-duty suspension work and engine dampening. At some point, the labor and cost catches up and makes any normal person wonder, why?

 

I personally love the RSX type-S... and if they we're still making them, I would have bought one new, or if the one I almost bought used didnt have a crappy tranny I would have got that instead of attempting the Si, (financing didn't hold... I don't get RSX's handed to me on a plater by my parents...) Finally settling on the tC.

And truthfully, I don't hate on the RSX. It's most of the owners... If they aren't some punk kid, they're nasty for no apparent reason... even to each other... like pirranahs...

Example... I was rolling on the 15 south near Hemet, and I saw this tC get on the 10 about 30 minutes back, we just cruised together then we pulled over, shot the s**t for a minute and then left.

If I wanted to flag someone down in an RSX to talk about his ride... chances are he'd be a tool and downshift and peace-out. I'm not saying all RSX owners are like that... but some need a window where there stomach is so they can see where they're driving b/c their head is so far up their...

And why would a Type-S owner brag about spanking a tC... the cars don't compare...

How about a used Solara V6, Accord coupe V6, or a 330? I owned a gen 1 Solara 4cylinder (5S-FE) and I liked having 2 doors and a usable backseat. But that car was slow. Almost got a tC before I test drove the 07 Camry SE V6. I miss having 2 doors but the power makes up for it.

 

The camry and other cars are quite a bit more expensive though. You're of the age where you can probably afford it, but i bought the tC when I just turned 20 and could barely afford it, so people argue about speed,etc,etc...quite honestly, its about what people can afford. There are some things I like more about the rsx and some things I like more about the tC. I think it's retarded that there are like 23 pages on their forum trying to make fun of our tCs...they can't find anything better to do? Psychologically speaking, 'bullies' go around 'bullying' others to make themselves feel good about themselves or what they have. It obviously shows that we are happy with our tCs and they need to try to put us down to feel better about themselves......sad

I got one of the new 2007 Camry SE V6's also. Man, just a FANTASTIC car. I'm just head over heels in love with it. The only bad thing about it is it can't quite handle like my RSX-S. It probably could but I don't want to disturb the ride quality. I sure love the tossibility of my Acura. In some nice corners I could run circles around it.
