I've ran a few RSX's, and some TypeS, with and without bolt-ons, and can say they are not impressive for how much they cost 24K vs. 16K. They thought they could beat me...they were WRONG. Without a significant engine build-up or boost, they are not a whole lot to shout about.
A tC responds much more positively to bolt-ons & boost, meaning you get better numbers for your money. This is coming from test and tunes performed in Import Tuner and Dsport magazines.
A tC has more Torque, and from a dead stop that matters much more than HP.
RSX have better FACTORY suspension and come with an LSD, but they are not featherweights compared to the tC which is often regarded as "heavy", we are talking a difference of >200lbs.
RSX- 93 octane to make its numbers
tC- 87 octane to make its numbers
In a conversation I had with Rado, he stated that in during R&D test of his turbo kit, the tC's engine block could withstand 20PSI of boost in with no problems.
I don't hate RSX's, they are great cars, but they are not the "greatest thing since sliced bread", and a lot of owners would have you believe, and the tC is not as much of an underdog as its misrepresented as.

but you have no idea what your talking about
first off, no rsx comes with a lsd from the factory
unless you mean the type-r integra (DC5) but i know your not talking about that
the reason why the tC needs a diet is because of the power/weight ratio
sooo...
160hp/2950pds
200-210/2750pds
i'm guess here so don't post a link proving me wrong
roughly the tC is pushing 18.5 pds per hp
the weaker s (02-04 models) are pushing 13.75 pds per hp
obviously pushing 14 pds is easier than pushing 18 pds
and how does it respond more responsively to bolt-ons than an s?
isn't that what the k-motor is known for?
show me how much does an intake and raceheader will gain on a dyno in a tC
dont give your car more credibility than it deserves
but again, it is a great price for what you are getting
but when you but a kid in any quick (that feels fast) car
they think they are the fastest thing on the street and their car is better than it really is
this doesnt only apply to tCs but it goes for every brand/make/and model
idk i like both cars and are both equally good... in there own ways
TC awesome in town due to the low gear-ratios, plus with my auto danm its so easy to drive in trafic... so glad i got a auto
RSX type-s great in long distance great top-end (6 speed) but low speed damn its not the best car. well thats what i think. idk ...some may differ.
my girlfriend owns a rsx type-s i get one tc....

why is this still goin on.....for the price our car is a great package and a great platform to start with... bolt on for bolt on the type-s spanks us.. the type-s is a monster in the right hands(some times mommy and daddy buy it and the kid can't drive and doesn't apprieciate it) nitrious is a couple bursts of speed(so what) not to sound like an a**hole but n20 is fake hp... sayin a tc with n20 is faster than a type-s is is funny what about when u run out and the type-s beats u.... hondas make alot of amazing motors just as toyota does... just like the tc good gaines are shown on low boost so do hondas(on certain motors) not to sound like "that guy" but a very good freind has a 93 hatch (jdm type-r motor and trans w/ lsd and basic turbo kit with intercooler on 4-5 psi) runs 13 flats all day on ____ a** street tires.... I love my imports (except a few companies) and i also love my classic muscle cars.... love the car just b/c cause the driver is a douchbag and make stupid comments to sound cool... doesn't make it a bad car and make ur car better/ faster automaticlly... so lets stop with the arueing about who's better
