on an 05 tc is it normal for the clutch to release high or low

 

everyone tells me our cars are somewhat high

 

o cus my friend has a 07 and i was whiping his ____ last night and it was like driving a hole different car it was mad low and the gear box was closer together

 

maybe your clutch was changed, or more worn?

 

tc clutch = poo

i have an 05 and it engages high, though its not slipping. usually that is a sign that your clutch is going out.

i find the pedal feel to be very unpredictable and inconsistent as well.

plus, it makes a weird raspy grinding sound in the t case when i have the clutch pedal fully depressed----like something is frictioning against the flywheel when the clutch is disengaged, ie. when nothing should be touching the fly.

i wouldn't be surprised at all if they worked out the kinks with the clutch system for later models.

just so we're all on the same page....

"clutch engaging high" = clutch doesn't engage until you've almost let the pedal all the way up. ie. requires almost the full pedal travel to engage.

 

SO IS THAT NORMAL

 

normal for a scion tc maybe....
