Default Coilovers or Wide Body Kit???

Looking for opinions. Was set on getting SSP Coilover for awhile, but recently I found a sale on the body kit I want for alot less than what I've seen on the net.

What would you guys go for?

Let me know if you need more info.

Eventually I'm going to get both.

It depends if you are lowered yet. If you already have it lowered. get the BodyKit. Save the coilovers for later. But if it isnt lowered it. LOWER IT FIRST.

Also the body kit, in the end will cost alot more than the coilovers.

WHAT KIT???

Yeah, it isnt lowered yet. But the price is hard to come by. Its the Obsidian widebody kit. Heres the link:

I would say coilovers because think of this...
After you get ur body kit on, it's gonna cost about 1500 minimum to have the paint job done, then ur probably gonna wanna get it molded since it's a widebody and doesn't look too good when it's not molded and that costs a pretty penny too...so again, i think the coilovers are a good choice. Hell, while ur at it, get the EDFC also.

I am not to big into that kit. It does look good on the blue car. And BUDDHAS is right. its gonna be expensive to do right. I would imagine you are going to pay $2500-$3000 to have it painted, fitted and installed correctly. If you have the money do it, but also if you have that kinda money, I imagine you can just get both.

I have to agree with Yanki, just not a fan of the widebody kits, at least not for every day driving. Some show cars look good, but to roll around town every day in one, not to sure. I would go coilovers!!!

Coilovers...They'll last for a LONG time and wont affect your daily driving abilities like a wide-body kit would. I'm saying the same thing as everyone else basically but I'm just racking up the votes for coilovers.

Was doing my research on the SSP's and the EDFC and it running around $1700 or so. Anyone get a better price on that package?

Go with the coilovers first. I would much rather have a great handling car that looked stock than a wide body car that drove like stock. Don't get the widebody unless you have the performance to back it up.

Makes sense. I was gonna wait to put it on anyway, and I was even thinking about going springs in the meantime. The price is pretty hard to pass up.

What do you guys think about springs and kit... then coilovers later?

coilovers over springs. if you're planning on coilovers down the road, don't waste your time and money on a spring/shock setup. you don't want to do suspension installs more than once, it's just a pain in the butt

I post to get others opinions. My original idea was the coilovers, but then the kit was on sale... which put me on the fense. Thanks to the help of you guys, I've decided to stick to the coilovers afterall.

Thanks lot guys for your input and opinions. Believe me, they helped.
