Default Cruise Control on the wrong side and upside down...

Ok, my cruise control lever is on the left hand side and all the writing is upside down. In the owners manual it shows on the right hand side... perhaps this is why mine is upside down? Anyone else have this going on?

Are you serious? That is friggin' weird. I just checked and my cruise control is right where it should be (right hand side w/ text rightside up). -Jayme

Call SCION HQ first. Some dealers may give you the run around until you call up SHQ. That definitely a factory, more likely port installed problem. Someone at the dealer forgot to PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) the vehicle properly.

Get a case number. Depending on when you call, they will contact the dealership the same day. Depending on when SCION contacts the Customer Service Rep at the dealer, you should receive a call from the dealer rep same day or next business day.

I'll give them a call in the morning. Unfortunately I'm ehaded out of town this weekend. Fortunately, I'm taking my new baby and I have no need for cruise control!

I may be wrong but...

I think the cruise control **** spins with the steering wheel. Are your wheels straight or are they turned? It may just be the fact the steering wheel is turned to one side and what-not. Like I said, I may be wrong. If so that is definately something to take a picture of, just to have.

Your right, the cruise is part of the steering colomn so when you turn the wheel the cruise moves along with it. I think he noticed it when his steering wheel was upside down!

u guys are hilarious... i'm pretty sure the cruise control is on the right side of the steering wheel..and as many mentioned..it turns with the steering wheel...so if u're steering wheel is not straight..i'm sure it's on the other side and upside down.

This is a classic~ lol.

Is the scion symbol on the steering wheel upside down too?
I suppose it's possible that the steering wheel was installed upside down, but quality control/dealer prep missed it?

Its possible that the cruise control was installed wrong, although I can't see how. It just seems weired that it would be upside down AND on the wrong side. I just hope that he actually lets us know if the steering wheel was turned.
