LOL, you gotta get some pretty bottom of the pile crap nowadays to not have cruise control... Even my bucket of a car 90 LS Integra with no power windows or locks has cruise control...

I personally don't trust cruise control in a manual tranny, but I did however use it a few times in my WRX... The only difference is, the WRX had enough torque to keep speed even up the steepest of freeway hills...

I live in rural Virginia. Even here, cruise control is pretty worthless. Too much traffic. Only time I can use if on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Days or in the early morning ams..... Glad it is standard but won't use much.

cruise control would be nice for me... SA has lots of straight, usually empty roads/highway. hehe

Careful KAuss, the xB and xA do not have cruise control. You dont want to go around calling our fellow scions piles of crap now do you.

As for me I dont get a chance to use it that much especially within 100 miles of Atlanta, only on I-16 between Macon and Savannah. Nothing like a long, flat, empty stretch of road to make you feel free... and really value cruise control.

Any new car is better than my 16 year old car... I didn't want to offend anyone but I'm going to be honest and blunt... The xA and xB are as entry level as you can get in buying a new car... Them not having cruise control would only add to the fact that they have to be very very entry level to be with out this standard...

As for being a piece of crap, it was a figure of speech... Just figure in that my car cost me 3K to buy in and you can't get any new car for that price so if they're driving pieces of crap then I'm driving diarrhea :D

I guess cruise can save you from getting speeding tickets on long trips... I have to learn to use it....

Well, I think the xA and xB are amazing cars. The whole Scion line is suppose to be "entry level" including the tC. Still for entry level cars they are very nice cars, and very nicely equipped. The car I am driving now is worth about $2K, but it has cruise control. I would be more willing to call it a piece of crap. All I’m trying to say is cruise control is not what makes a car great. Many Lamborghinis do not have cruise control, but they are still spectacular cars.

Hell the 92 Grand am SE Seadan worth a whooping trade in of $990 has cruise control, I only use it when driving from Savannah to Ellabell or Statesboro.

haha that's true. if they have all that money for a Lamborghini, they should have their own private jet or have money for plane tickets or rent a jet..
