theres a tech article on here about changing them to other colors by desoldering the led's under the instrument panel and gauge cluster and resoldering blue led's....

since nobody's sticking up for the poor orange lighting ill havta help it out by saying that orange is good enough for BMW why cant the tC don the orange... lol it was worth a shot

this is a awesome mod but if your leaving the stock head unit in......why have different colors on the dash......i mean that may be your thing and all but i think the stock lighting is good enough.

The yellowish amber that Toyota choose for the Scion gets distracting at night. I got sick of that and changed the LEDs to a pure red color (>620 nm). Red is much easier on the eyes and helps to preserve night vision.
