Yeah looks good, but do you have any air space? Can you take a pic from the top view.

That box is well built (looking) but totally not for me. the trunk is small enough without a big old box going all the way across it. I know you could put a grill on the woofer, but as it is right now, anything sharp in the trunk could tumble right into it.

What I really want to see is someone build a box that fits in the same little hole that the factory bazooka fits in. In all honesty I'll probably end up buying the bazooka because I don't need much bass in a hatch like the tC, but having that level of fit and finish is worth it. Just the same, for $450, you'd think someone could come up with something that fits in like that but doesn't cost so damn much.

it only costs like 27x or so from one of many of the other scion dealers, install yourself and save the cash.

I like your box. I also like my Bazooka. One advantage the Bazooka has over yours is that I can lay down the seats and put long stuff in (like, say, a flat-packed bookcase or entertainment center) without having to remove it. I realize you said yours is easy to move, but no matter how easy it is, it's more difficult than not having to move it. The Bazooka takes up less than a foot of space on the right side.

The Bazooka is the cheapest, simplest and best-sounding option I found. A Basslink would end up using the same amount of space or more, and was more expensive. A custom box to fit where the Bazooka goes would have cost me much more including amp and driver. The only other option I considered was building the box into the floor of the trunk, but I would lose the storage (and maybe the spare) and it would cost much, much more.
