Damn it!!!
Well it's not such a big deal and I'm getting paranoid but,
Just a few minutes ago some dumbass Dodge Ram overtook me when I'm driving at 50MPH on a 25MPH construction zone
(do I have a busted speedo?) and he passed me going 65MPH on the right side off pavement and he floored it, making dirt and gravel hit my thin BSP paint.
Now I got home and checked for damage and found 2 chips on the paint maybe more if I look tomorrow on bright sunlight.
I already tried to use rubbing compound on the chips and it doesn't work at all
.
Now I need your help on what to do with 2 needle sized chips to keep it from rusting and make it look like it never happend, please give me tips on how to use a chip paint pen smoothly, and not like what I did to my bumper chip on my corolla that it looked like I just used my girlfriend's nail polish.
Thanks for reading this somewhat long explanation and thanks for the help/tips!

The rough idea is -
Clean with rubbing alcohol, build up several layers of touchup paint over the course of several hours until its ever so slightly higher than the paint around it. Let it cure like this for at least a couple days. Then glue some 1000 grit wet/dry sandpaper to a small square of flat wood (like a 1x1" square of MDF). Using a sponge to keep the area moist very lightly sand the filled chip using a circular motion until the filled area is flush with the existing paint.
To bring back the shine use a deep cleaning polish and work up to finer detailing polishes. Once pretty, wax.
If you have a porter cable random orbital with cutting pads this goes way faster.
Good luck and remember to be patient!

Yeah I have a fair share of wreckless truck drivers around here too :[ the only thing that suffers is my paint
I personally have never had any luck with touch up paint. Unfortunately.
(sorry for anyone who has a dodge truck and doesnt drive like an idiot)
it must be the truck he passed you and spit some rocks at your car its much better than the dodge 3500hd switching into your lane and side swipeing you.....
