Chris Rado crashed his Scion tC during the Time Attack trials at Buttonwillow Raceway recently. Chris and World Racing are renowned for racing his Scions in both track and drag cars, but unfortunately his luck caught up with him this time around. Apparently the carbon fiber rear hatch broke off from it's aluminum mounts, and took the rear wing with it as it sheared off the car. This caused the car to lose downforce and caused him to spin off course. At least Chris isn't hurt and knowing him, he'll be back in no time. Continue reading for more pictures and an in-car video.

It's a race car and they crash, it's not a big deal.

The hatch didn't fall off, it cracked where the spoiler mounted.
