I hit a curb doing a U turn and cut the tire a little right above the rim where that lip?? from the tire sticks out, I dont think its bad no air has come out. What do you think?

 

haha i had a whole piece off my tires and i ran it for a while with nothing happening..... but just for safety.. i'd get a new tire... depending on how big it is

depends on what kind of tires u get.... i just swapped all 4 of mine for 600

take it to get checked out, if you just hurt the lip alittle, then replacing it won't be necessary.

put some soapy water on it to see if it is leaking, and make sure the sidewall wasn't damaged.

the tire might be fine.

 

yeah, get a new tire...better than getting a blowout on the highway

 

i cracked the sidewall of my tire awhile back on the stock rims when some lady almost hit my car, so i turned into the curb. gave me a reason to get new wheels and tires lol. but just like draxcaliber said, check for leaks first.

 

So....I hit a crub..lol...I blew tire and now have a bent wheel...

 

did you hit it that hard? i know i hit the curb hard but my tire didnt blow. it just had a crack.

 

hmm.. lol just start ur car to see if ur tire light is on or not... =) then u'll know if ur leaking air

 

If you're on stock tires, you might as well replace all 4. (At least replace the 2 fronts.)
You'd be surprised how much better the tC will handle on aftermarket tires.
