Default Davedave might divorce his tC :(

yup, im having car problems again and im thinkin about getting rid of my car. so i need people to either A. convince me to keep it or B. convince me to part it out and start over.

many will ask whats the deal well ill start here.

my clutch died on me 2 weeks ago and i got a new Competition Clutch and 12 lb Flywheel from Nurspec (awesome customer service and prices btw) and got it fixed for a really good deal from a certified toyota tech and here i am 2 weeks later with a dead clutch and/or flywheel. i cant afford to have it replaced again (cost me upwards to 750$ last time).

so im leaning towards gettin an 06 Avalon with ~40k miles for 20k and then throwin some 20s and airbag it.

so yea either convince me to keep it or get rid of it.

btw i babied the clutch and flywheel in the last 2 weeks and there should be no reason why it should die in 2 weeks. unless there was a manufacture defect or install error...

either way im heated right now. and im with out a car

yeah, i'm thinking it's likely a problem with the install. anyway, i'm not going to convince you to stick with a car you're not happy with, but i would suggest a different replacement. if you enjoy driving, the avalon will bore you to tears.

dont get me wrong i LOVE my tC but its been a headache/money pit lately and idk if im happy with it anymore. and as for the avalon boring me to tears i dont think it would. it has a lot more standard options to it then the tC, more power, longer wheel base (= nicer ride) leather, real wood grain accents and i can still modify it tastefully with some nice wheels and a nice suspension set up. but we'll see, if i do part it out ill use all the money from the part out for just wheels/suspension for the avalon. :sigh:

fkkkkkk

i cant afford the clutch because i dont h ave money to pay outright for it, but if i get the new car ill finance it and if i get the new car ill part the tC out and use that money for rims and airride

keep the tC..plus the tC has sentimental value and looks a lot better than the Avalon. Eh saves more gas

its funny cus i love the avalon but i love my tc too and all my friends like the tC too so if i can get away getting the clutch fixed with no money outta my pocket ill do it, but im not paying for 2 clutches and flywheels in the same month. especially if the 2nd set wasnt my fault.
