Interested in this as well, but Weapon R's full race header looks mighty tempting too.

FYI

The headers are actually 4-1, and not 4-2-1. This was confirmed by paul @ mcgeorgeparts.com who recieved it and posted pics of it. I also contacted DC Sports and they confirmed it was a 4-1. Their web page states 4-2-1, but the person at DC said that was a mistake and will be corrected today .

both the DC sports header and Weapon R header will void yer warranty if you bring it to the dealer, both remove the precat... and the dc header is 4-1... vs the Weapon R 4-2-1 and will include the s-pipe in the package. i dont know how the DC header will be carb legal as it says on the website becuase it removes the cat. ide like to see some dyno numbers for the DC header as well

Normally the DC header is carb legal because they pay for the rights for it to be, which in turn makes the header more expensive. The company Buys the "carb number" and stamps it on the header, so pre-cat or not, its legal. As for Dyno numbers i guess some are saying 7-10 to the crank, but dont quote me.

Well on hopupracing.com they have a 4-2-1 header for the tC! And in the description it says that they are 50 state carb legal!

It says 4-2-1, but from the pic, it is clearly a 4-1 header. Plus, DC themselves said it was.

Actually these stores rarely use an actual pic of the product. If they are selling headers, cai or whatever it is, they'll use a generic pic of that item. Also these stores usually don't have the item in their stock. They will act as a middleman by taking your order, then passing it on to the company of the product, and have it shipped straight from the manufacturer. Of course the price you get will usually be better than going to the manufacturer yourself directly.

The 4-1 DC Sports headers for the tC are NOT C.A.R.B.-exempt and are for "off-highway use only." Check www.mcgeorgeparts.com for details.

I ordred a DC header ($300 vs. projected $900 for weapon-r), I also emailed couple of dyno shops in my area to see what would they charge to do a couple of before/after runs.

Those interested in the results can donate $1 in my dyno fund
