Debadging fools
I understand people with a higher performance trim of a car debadging their cars to kill unsuspecting others. However, I get a kick out of people with slow cars who "debadge" their cars wishing it brings them the same effect.
A Corolla pulled alongside me last night revving me in a stop light. I backed up a little, looked at his rear wheels and noticed he had drum brakes. I played his game and smoked his stupid ****.
Then next light, I let him get ahead of me and on the back, I found out he removed the "S" that Corolla S (trying to make people think he's a debadged XRS) have and he had a coffee can exhaust. Next light, I felt merciful and let him keep up and think that he stands a chance, then I gunned it and left him behind.

How do you know his reason for removing the badge? I debadge for looks, not to fool people into thinking I have a faster car. I debadged my Echo and it looked cleaner. I debadged my tC and it looked cleaner. If anyone wants to race me now because they think I have a Lexus, more fool them.
He also had the stock XRS rims on his Corolla S.
I don't get ricers. There are also those who have the factory stock steelies. They pry off the wheel covers, paint the wheels black. For what? Speed? LOL!

I took mine off for the cleaner look as well as the fools coming up to me asking what the tC stood for...Had a guy and his son walk by my car @ a Safeway and the son was telling his dad about the cars, the dad asked about the what it stood for and the sone said, "the tC stands for turbo charged, DUH!"

I kinda have both worlds.... I debadge my front to make it look cleaner and my rear I add a vvti badge bc help me spot my car more easily in a parade of tCs.
BTW? Why would you even race a Corolla?
