Do Decals really leave a strange mark on a car after a while from sun fading on the factory tinted glass? On my older scion I hada a decal for a while and when i peeled it off it was like the imprint was still there somehow on the rear quarter glass.

 

Also 1 on the windshield bottom left

 

I plan on putting SL stickers (when i get them) on the rear windows. And not to hijack, but how many people have SCION on there wind deflector, I'm thinking of doing this, but i don't know where i would get the sticker, or how many people do this.

 

I haven't encountered "shadowing" on glass. Are you sure that it's not just residual adhesive? Or an outline of grime?

 

Do wat you'd like, Go to any graphic arts store, or sticker stores and they can make you one, any size...

 

I had the SCION decal on my deflector. I got it from Randode. (www.randode.com). I believe they're $20. When I took it off, I had the decal outline, looked retarded. 7 months after I took it off, it still outlined "scion" (like in cold conditions or even after car washes.

Same thing happened with SL stickers. Left the residue. I used goo gone, even wax.

just make sure you get want you really want, instead of what i did, lol.

when I get the new car, my SE sticker and one SL will go on the drivers side of the deflector

 

so goo gone didn't get the residue off?

In my experience with vinyl, the outline that's left after removal of the sticker can be gotten rid of. It just takes a lil bit of elbow grease.

 

Goo Gone won't do the trick.

I noticed that when I took my SL sticker off but it eventually went away.

 

where can i get one of those Scion Life decal/sticker?

 

When my eD sticker comes off, I won't have to worry about an outline. It will help me get a new one back in the same spot.
