I've loved my tC dearly ever since I bought it almost 3 years ago and if it could talk.... well that probably wouldn't be good haha.

But anyway I bought a 86 325e as a DD a week ago and fell in love with rwd and what little drifting I can do with it. Makes me want to unboost my tC and use it as a DD and not make the beamer a racecar but sell it and get something else to build up and make a drift car.

Just wondering what your guys thoughts are on this decision and what you may recommend as a good platform to start a build on. Also wondering what you would think about a bottle fed tC as a daily I can't find it in my heart to strip it of all its dignity lol.

 

Awesome! you bought an E30 ETA! whoo! honestly, I would keep the eta, BMW's from that generation are classic and have character and are sweet little daily driver's. one of my friends also has a clean 325e and I get mad jealous sometimes, but then I make him eat my turbocharged dust.

also, you don't have to unboost a tC to daily drive it, I daily drive my turbo tC, your mileage shouldn't be too much worse than a normal tC if you aren't boosting everywhere, but you do need to use 91+ octane.

When I had My TC Back In 2008, It is and Still is till this day the bEST DD ever!!!! It is such a practical and peaceful car to just go around town lol I guess thats why they named it TC Touring Car!
