i just got off the phone with the guy. He does have a test to toy around with. Hes looking into it all. His biggest concern is having the halo's so close to the bulbs. Altho he has never had anything ever melt even with HID's in cars.

i think the only way they would not be legal is if they are colored blue, red or green....it probably varies by state but thats what it is here

they are completely legal because they are not your actual headlights. they may say somethign along the lines of that it could distract drivers. but it woul dnot be a good idea to have them on when your lights are on anyways first of all it woul ddrown the angel eyes out, second of all they can melt from the heat. they are meant to be used while at nighttime car shows and photo shoots not for daily driving.

I doubt that very much. You are putting a foreign object into a headlight which DOT says is a big no-no.

yeah im not completely sure... but as long as you dont have them turned on while driving than its fine for sure. just like how underbody neons are illegal if they are on while you are driving.

Not necessarily because they can affect the light pattern of the headlights, creating UFOs or glare.

o.k your all pretty wrong about something. YES the DOT says no modifying stock headlights of any form. but i dont see anyone with HID conversions getting a ticket.

Here is how it breaks down in REAL Life and not the law

Red = they MIGHT pull you over if they feel like it.
same with blue.

anyone other color, theres like a 1/10000000 chance they pull you over.

On Tibs, we open our headlights, take out our orange corners, paint our bezels, so yes our headlight is modifying but no oneEVER pulls us over for something so stupid.

If you talk to a cop, he'll tell you. As long as your not doing something stupid your fine.. AKA

speed 10 mph over the limit with flow of traffic, but dont go 10mph weaving like a dope fiend.

which is why my OWN angel eyes are dual colored. White so i can drive with them on, and red when i want to show.

If you want red, for show purposes but like to have em while driving, do as i did.

They do, all the time. When a cop sees nothing but blue/purple glare bouncing down the road he is going to write a ticket. By the way, all I have been saying is by the letter of the law, I don't care if some cops will let things slide.... the law is the law, and that is all I am saying.

That being said, I would be interested in some angel eyes for the TC, the law be damned ;)
