you'll have to teleport into the car.

____ i forgot it's not Y3K yet...

well if you're on a computer with internet, then you can go to yellowpages.com and see if there is a 24 hr. locksmith. Kinda sucks you locked your keys in. and i don't mean to be a smart ___ :D. yeah, where are your other spare keys? if someone can give you a ride to your house like tomorrow or tonight..just do that.

Nowadays, most Cell Phone services and Car insurance policies come with Free Roadside asistance. Might want to check yours to see if you do

You are suppose to get 2 keys with the scion.

I dunno this maybe a stupid question but if the locksmith does his thing doesnt the door lock dont work no more? or is this for the old model.

Hmmm...interesting. I received 3 keys when I drove off the lot with my tC. I hope your 'neighbor' is a chica! Or, it could be a long night! ? for ya; if your city 'closes' at 11pm, then why does it take the locksmith 2-6 hours to help you out? If he shows up in a leather vest and chaps...RUN!!

I wouldn't know where to start on how to break into a tC.

I got 3 keys w/ my car. Two Fob keys, and a valet key.

Cops suck at breaking into cars, track down a bum on the corner, he'll probably know.

Cops are not technically allowed to break into your car unless it is in response to an emergency. I have tried this route in the past with other people and the cops will refuse to touch it.

You only have to worry about that if you're in Ft. Lauderdale or Wilton Manors. Have friends there who'd be happy to show up dressed like that for u. They may not be able to unlock the car tho. I also got three keys when I got my xB. 2 + 1 valet key.

Just a note, that this all depends on the department. In my experience, most "private" departments such as found on business and college campuses will do this as an advertised free service, as will Military Security Forces if you happen to be on a military installation at the time.

It's also a perfect example of why products like AAA membership is such a good idea...you hate paying that $50/yr, sure, but when you need a tow or to get your keys out of your car at 3 in the morning, it pays for itself 10x over.

^^ Very true, I signed up for AAA, their auto insurance and their renters insurance. I pay under $850/6 months for all of that on two cars and my apartment and it is more than worth it!
