Default Did any Males order the Black Cherry Pearl?

I thought this would be a female only color, but after seeing it I am liking the color more and more. To bad I already have a Flint Mica.

Black Cherry Pearl just looks really good. Any males have/order a Black Cherry Pearl?

Black Cherry Pearl makes the car look more expensive.
We ordered the BCP for my girlfriend on Thursday. Most guys I have talked to have either ordered the tC in Black or Flint Mica, we have talked to one lady in Virginia that ordered the tC in the Azure Pearl.
I am getting an xB in a couple of months in the Camouflage color.

Me too. Azure Blue is the female-only color.

This is a good time for me to make my first post:

Right now I own a 1992 Subaru SVX. It's my first and only car and I love it to death, but there are many downsides to owning a 12 year old car ($2300 for a transmission rebuild being a big downside). I'm planning on replacing it with a BCP tC in about a year, once I have saved up some more cash (which is difficult to do while in college). I want the BCP for three reasons, 1. it is very similar in color to my SVX, 2. it seems to be one of the rarer colors (next to Azure Blue), 3. it looks very classy IMO. I've gotten picked on for having a "purple" car by jealous friends, but everyone else seems to love the color. It's decent to keep clean and doesn't make dings obvious.

How freaky! Like you, I've got a '92 SVX (I'm the original owner -- it's black, but I wanted the Claret at the time and couldn't get it) and am now about to buy a BCP tC. I love my SVX too, and am keeping it even after I buy a new car. There's nothing else like it and I'm still asked about it all the time. Don't think of buying the tC as losing performance...think of it as finally gaining some cupholders!

Cheers,
S.

We my wife an i ordered our xB it was either Black Cherry or the Blue and he had sold 2 xBs before us and one was blue so we went with BCP that I love.
The thing I hear the most about our car is "I really like that color"

I wish I did like it. My dealership has a BCP tC setting on the lot. No one around here wants it.

I am hoping that my brother wants to buy the SVX off of me once I get the new car. Unfortunately I can't afford both, especially with the cost of insurance in NJ. There's not that much of a difference in performance (atleast under 60), and I haven't found the need to go 150 yet

Hey Tc56 is the Black Cherry Pearl that is still on the lot a 5-Spd or Auto,

The dealer we ordered ours from said that our car is having to be built, because there is no Black Cherry Pearl tC's in 5-Spd that our in the States right now, according to the dealership we went thru.

I think it's an auto. I would call them and ask. The phone # is (304) 344-1601. Ask to speak with Will in the Scion Dept.

I was so close to buying an SVX LS-L (white with black top and no spoiler- soooo smooth) before I got my Impreza. The car was gorgeous, but I just couldn't justify the price- 10K for a 1992. It had very few miles and was from Texas so I think it would have been relatively trouble free (though I know the trannies are a big problem). It is such a nice car! If only they had made them with a manual as an option (I don't have the resources to retrofit a 5-speed into the car).

I got mine last night: BCP, 5-speed, only option is floor mats. I plan on having the dealer add the TRD springs (they didn't have them yet) and add some other accessories myself.
