I never really understood what having a lighter pulley really meant?....

Sorry I am trying to get everything down with my car...
I am doing all visuals right now and someday want to move onto the engine and want to get this stuff down.

no rubber dampener so i will not touch this with a ten foot pole. It doesnt matter if it has better then factory tolerances it still doesnt absorb harmnics in the 400hz range.

I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but if you want quick accelaration for not much it is the way to go. When I first put mine on i wasn't looking at the RPM's and I almost had it red lined by the time I would have normaly shifted.

won't argue you have to take the bad with the good, they factory is 90% of the time going to be your safer bet it is designed for the engine, But if you are willing to take some risk, its worth it.

im not going to risk my number one pistons rod bearing for 2 hp, especially when i can turbo it and not induce harmonic distrubance.

Im still new, but as this is related tot he topic can someone please explain what is harmonic disturbance? Or how itz caused? Also does an aftermarket pulley really cause these problems? i was too thinking about getting a new one.

o really? wow niceeee , yeah i still want a pulley but ppl say since aftermarket pulleys dont have that rubber dampener in the inner circle. I hear lightweight flywheels give about the same perfomance gains anyway. but wow 40k plus. How many miles WITH the pulley tho? still 40k?

Actually this pulley from Brothers is 0.83 lb so its a drop lighter than Craven, not much though.
