Default dinged up the scion (f'n slush)

i was going about 30 and the rest of the road was fine until about the last 200 feet then it turned into all slush. i couldnt stop it. ABS was freaking out. slid accross the intersection. luckily noone was in the intersection. went up over the curve dinged off a tree and broke into a fence. the tree didnt do too much, i was going pretty slow by then. ill just need to replace the front drivers fender.

the big thing is my suspension though. im not real sure what i messed up but i have to turn the wheel half a rotation to the right to make it go straight and the wheels arent exactly going the same direction.

i have to go fix the fence today. then my car will be in marks shop getting the suspension work done.

christmas turned out to be even more expensive then it already was. i dont believe it would have happened had i had some actual snow tires instead of these tiny ___ yokohomo's. i learned my lesson and ill fix it just sucks to burn money to bring something back to how it already was.

Someone wants to buy my passenger fender, which would leave my drivers side fender up for sale, since. I'd have to find a box that's big enough to ship it in.

PM me an offer. but you'd have to get it painted.

PM me an offer.

Dude before you replace that dent. do a search for the no paint dent removal. it is not a something you need to buy. it uses a can of freeon (sp?) and a hair dryer.

now reason i say this is because i used it on a dent on my bosses hood. her lexus hit a deer somewhere in yellowstone park. so she was going to take it in to get fixed and i saw the video and bought what the person had and it actually worked. in your case you might need to get it repianted after it is done. but the seriously dry it first

will look around to find the link

edit found it

I have all the OEM stock suspension stuff for you that was taken off my car. PM me if you need any springs, shocks, factory sway bar or I also have the factory OEM skirts (not the upgrade, but the one you take off, to PUT the upgrade on) available. Factory exhaust also.

I have plenty of other stock take off parts, but none that I think would help you out past what I mentioned. PLEASE let me know if i can be of assistance, I dont want to make profit off these parts, just cover shipping + boxes and packing if you need anything.

Sorry you had a mishap - I say F it, its only money. You didnt get hurt, but I know it sucks.
Let me know if I can be of any help with those stock parts.

ALSO anything you cant find, go talk to your parts person at the dealership, and ask them to hook you up - they might slide a 10-15% discount your way for your bad luck. I know my dealership does discounts for a lot of things if you just ask (well.. it helps to know people there too).

I'm sorry, but you've likely messed up quite a few things suspension-wise. I recommend driving it as little as possible, especially if the tires are not parallel. If the toe is off, your tires will be shredded within 100 miles.

Well, when I had a Contour a similar thing happened, ice and jumped a ditch. Ended up being a bent tie rod messing up the alignment, axle was still fine for me on that vehicle.

im not trying to be an a$$, but this is exactly why people should be replacing their stock tC tires with better tires for this type of weather.

Maybe after you fix it, you'll get better suited tires, stockers are TERRIBLE. as you found out the hard way

Unless your tC came on dinner plates, there's no reason to instantly take off the tires that are perfectly fine 90% of the year, and drop $500 on new tires. Unfortunately, that 10% caught up with him.
