I think i'm just going to email them and ask if they can upgrade the shipping to something that takes around a week.

I can play with like $20 extra, so i'm sure they can get some speedy shipping for $25 bucks on top of the key charge.

its a cool design, the only thing is it feels cheap...plastic is real light weight and im thinking the spring mechanism will break prematurely. I want to add some lead tape to it to give it a hefty feeling...EMS should ship it quicker... too 15 days to get mine on basic shipping, but i was in no hurry

Just bought some anzo tails so that killed my tc spending for the month, I try to keep it to a minimum, haha

You think it isn't worth the buy, since it feels cheap and seems it won't last?

i mean ive only had it for a couple days..but you know all those flip kepys are pretty much the same...china quality crap plastics. (and im Chinese, but the stuff they make really sucks sometimes) its fun to do and it really looks cool.

Another factor is that you cant put it on a key chain....i guess they though it looked so cool by itself they forgot to design a key ring... they want you to use the key by itself....but i have a Viper alarm.....this key is good for peeps who have scion security and a garage with no other keys...

Anzo FTW,,, I got em too....best tails...look like M6 tails

Yeah I just got my key today and I'm a little ____ed that I can't put it on my key chain cause I've got another control for my autostart. If I can't figure out a way to get this thing on my key chain I'll put it up for grabs here.

Wow I didn't even notice that. Wtf?

I only have a few keys but I still need to keep them together, lol. Hmmm... You could probably drill a hole in the case and slip one of those tiny rings in it, then attach it to a bigger ring.

howiedds, if you could take the key apart again and take some pics of the casing inside so I can see if it's possible to drill a hole in it without damaging anything.

Thats a total bummer

Are you talking about the plastic silver one? Yeah, it doesn't have a key ring, it sucks because i have a 2 way pager for my car. I have it sitting here, the quality looks pretty shotty, it feels like cheap plastic. I'll post up some pictures when I have free time

Haha, thats good thinking. Nicely done.

Guess that solves the problem, and I also see whats involved with transfering the guts.

I looked at how I could easily get the circuit board out of my key and I can't come up with anything. How did you get yours out?

here's an update on my key. its working just fine so far. mechanically it works great. i put a little bit of silicone grease on the moving parts inside the key before i put it together, and the key still flips open with ease.

the only downside to this key is that the rubberized coating the key is starting to rub off. the other keys on my ring rub against it all day...i just with the key was a little bit more resiliant.

ill have pics up soon to show you guys what i mean.

Hmmm, now that the keyring problem has been slightly solved, I'm considering this. Are the internals a direct swap? Minus the transmitter.
