I don't see how that silver key works :? Would so love to do this for my key though. Totally envious of keys that flip out

"Push down the cover and heard a sound like 'DA', this means it successfully installed"

I just thought, it would be sick if they made a mini-tc for the key, and it flipped out like that. I'd buy two. :D

I just pulled apart my key and I think I understand how it all works but I can't see the instructions above which would be really helpfull.

Also how does that thing fit on a key chain??? It looks a little bulky but I do like it.

Cut out around it with a box cutter blade, but heat the shte out of it first till it's hot enough to melt the plastic. Better than forcing the blade to cut the plastic.

Don't try prying the chip out, if it cracks inside you will be screwed. Make sure it still works now that you said you've already cracked it

Oh and no it isn't glass type

I got my transponder chip out just now after posting that using the method I said just to make sure, haha. Got it out in like 15 mins, and it is in perfect shape. After you get enough of the plastic around it off, it'll pop out pretty easily. It's glued on the sides of the chip, not the bottom.

Also how long did it take to get the key? Like from the day you ordered till the day you had it in your hands?

I'm thinking about spending the extra $20 and getting this one, assuming their the same

because it's in the US and shipping will be one week tops.

I just want to know if it's the same as what you bought. I'll put my own chip in it, I need to know if my stock keyless entry button pod will fit into that ebay switchblade like it does into yours?

My key is a 2006, not sure if their any different but I had to kill my spare keyfob also to get out the black chip.

I haven't bought the key yet, i'm weary because I don't want it to be different and not take my stock key guts.
