Default Do You Really Love Your TC?

Now that you have had your tC for a while who honestly just truely loves it still. Would you trade it in for a diff car if you had the chance. Pretend someone totalled your car and you were given the money for it. Would you buy another or get something new?

As much as I love my tC.... i wouldn't get another one. If I got into an accident and wrecked it, I'd probably opt for a S2000.

I pretty much baby my tC.. But if I was to get it into a wreck and get the money back for it. I'd buy a AWD instead of an FF.

I think I would get another tC... just maybe this time I'd get the exact one I wanted... like a different color and manual trans. plus some extra goodies too of course!

i love my tc and think about it day in and day out. if i ever lost it, i could never feel for another tc the way i felt for this one. it is my car, my first new car, i have put on virtually all the miles it has, i have picked out everything that is on it, i spend all my money on it and it makes me happier than i have ever been. it is seriously my anti-depressant. that is why i take such offense when people complain about them. no car is perfect, but that is because there is no such thing as a perfect car, but the tc's imperfections give it character and its easy to modify design means that people can make it their perfect car. make it their creation and no longer toyota's. this car is easier to love than a person because it is trustworthy, reliable, true and completely accepting of whoever hold the key. i think if i die, i want to be buried in my tc 6 feet under so i that i can take it with me.

I do love my tC. I enjoy taking care of it, doing my own maintenance and ensuring it lasts me a long time.

I like my tC, but if at all possible, I'll be upgrading in a few months.

I kind of love my TC. I guess I just like it. Previous ride was a 2000 BMW M Roadster. That was a beast 2 seater.. I got antsy and wanted to get something with a little more room and more cost effient. Now that I have the TC i mean i like it, its a lot of things (sunrooof, neat rear seats, blinkers in the corners) But I agree shes just a flashy little thing for the time being. But ofcourse if I had $15-20K to drop into it id love it more--- but then why keep it...oh this could go on and on and on...

i love my tC, but i think i would go with a used IS300 like Neothin or a Type-S. I hate the tC for cheap interior and all the f*cking rattles.

I think the same thing will happen with any car you get. The grass is always greener on the otherside. It's like buying a brand new video game. It's sick for the first week, Then u move on to something not necessarily better but different.

i would still get my tC because i absolutely love it! There was another thread about this a while ago and like i said back then...the main cars that i was looking at and could afford were...G35, 350Z, EVO VIII, STi, RSX-s, and the tC. I chose the tC because at the time, it was a new platform for aftermarket junk and it just looks clean when kept clean. Price was never a problem for the others, i just weighed out certain things and chose the tC. My only problem is FWD and we can't turbo it legally in Cali because it was not a part of the stock equipment. But I love it...and Toyota is top quality! Mitsubishi, Infiniti, Nissas are crap once the warranty is out, Don't like the sound of the RSX once aftermarket equipment is on it, and I've never really liked the quality of Subaru do to experience from friends. tC all the way baby!!

no german i dont think it is like that man. the tc looks, drives, and even sounds great (with a little tuning) but is it really that great of a car. I mean for the same price there is so much more out there. I am thinking of getting a Type S. Insurance is 50bux more though than the tC and the price tag can be a bit steeper too depending on miles and year.

The tC has been the all around best car i've had. But if I wrecked with I'd get something a lil faster, as some have already said. Most likely a new civic si or mazdaspeed3

i love my tC, and i think you can tell.

i totalled my first one after a year of ownership.

i got another and am just as happy, however the main reason i got this car was because i am young(19) and i dont feel as if i need an expensive car right now, i havent really made anything of myself, im just a college kid who doesnt really need anything fancy.
