There hasnt been one time that someone with a freaking honda or neon with there annoying fartpipe that wanted to race. I live in some hick town in Austin Mn (because of college and dont ever come here cause it sucks) and I dont think they have realized that there spoiler and graphix doesnt make any HP. So yesterday I was getting a little annoyed by the wannabe's and raced a prelude, after the race the kid said that he would of beat me if it was an even match. I asked how wasnt it even, he said because I have a turbo, I was like wtf laughed and went home. So does this happen to everyone else too.

 

Everytime I pull up to a light with a ricer..... all you hear out of the other lane is rev limiter..... Just pump the gas a few times when the light changes let him run off like the MORON he or she is..... after the 2nd light they don't want to play anymore...

 

i haven't had anyone want to race me. guess i either look too slow or too fast haha.

 

I get this crap all the time -- everything from fartcan Civics to BMWs to a Camry last night. It's getting on my nerves. Yes, your 7 series is faster than my tC; no, your Civic isn't. Okay?!?!?!?

 

Nah but I had some dude in a Porsche 911 ask me what kind of car it was this morning. :D

never had a problem around here, but i do get looks once in a while from riced up civics.

 

not really. usually when I want them to, they just stare at the car like WTF...or they are intimidated. Every time I stop for gas etc...I usually have somebody ask what it is, or how I like it...and did the rims come with it...its fun cause i have my back badge black, and my fronts getting replaced w/ a billet grille, so people really wont know then. People on the expressway are funny. u see em try to see the back, then drive by the front and look for an emblem People will prob try to race me more, as summer is approaching...ehhe.

 

i've never had anyone want to race me. but usually my passenger will be like "lets see what this thing will do". so i get to give him whiplash

I've succumbed to racing temptation a few times, but only with cars that I'm sure I can at least keep up with. Usually, people will just stare at it, or will approach me to ask what it is, or how much I paid for it, etc...

The only person I raced was a buddy of mine with a civic with a B18.... the first race I beat him.... the second I found out where we start loose power in top end...

 

Yeah, I get this too and it's annoying. Anything rice that pulls next to me when we're in front at a light, is going to do something stupid to get my attention. I just ignore them, maybe turn the stereo up. That usually drowns them out.

 

I haven't had my car delivered yet, but i remember my old car, people used to wanna race me all the time, they'ed rev, and I'ed rev back, then they'ed blast of and depending i'ed just drive off normaly haha.

 

Had a woman in a Lincoln Navigator ask me what mileage I get in the city a few minutes ago...lol

Then like 2 minutes after that a 92 or 93 Mitsubishi Eclipse started rev'n his engine behind me. Then I noticed that familiar sound of a turbo wastegate...and decided I better let him pass.

 

in here el paso, there are a bunch of burners and they want to race like it is their job, all the time i have these little kids coming up to the light and reving, i had this one Kat come up and he was in an 01 cavalier and supposedly he had headers, an intake and whatever else he was blabin' i said what the hell and i punched it and he punched it, to my surpirse being only my 5ht day in the car, i beat him by a nose, i stopped and i told him that he needs to get a refund on the parts he had gotten in his car, that he got ripped, my car was stock and stayed with his "import" car as he said....lol...just a little story to add

 

My friend has a 04 Neon with a CAI and has been dying to race me. He keeps claiming his car "is like" an SRT4 and thinks he has a chance.
