why the underbody? it'd make it look like snowcones in the snow haha. i should take mine off but im too lazy, and if they break they were cheap ones. i'll just unhook the powerwire to them then it snows

I'm taking mine off for two reasons. 1) so they don't break and 2) to protect the wires.

umm ice scrapper deicer, figure out how to set the wipers in the snow position, and learn how to power slide around corners with the e-brake so I don't fly off the mountain I live on :D

btw you want to start out in 2nd gear while from a dead stop in the snow, you'll get more traction to the ground better and you'll be slightly riding the clutch until you get going very worth it

i do it all the time in the snow and still beat all those 4x4 suvs :D

I don't know cold! You're right. I don't know how you guys up north cope with that. I'm from Rio de Janeiro, so I've never been to anything colder than Miami.

Winter kit comprises of:

Collapsible snow shovel
Ice Scraper
Emergency Blanket
Energy Bars
Small pouch of dry wood & matches
Extra winter hat
6pk of hand warmers

I really make good use of those hidden storage compartments under the trunk.

I love driving the tc in the snow. I do have blizzaks and there the best. It doesn't snow at 500 foot above sea level all the time, but when it does I do circels around everyone, literaly. When it snows or there is a good frost on the ground give your e-brake a pull around a corner, don't forget to hold the relise button down so it dosen't lock .You don't want to go to fast the fist time and don't blame me if you hit the curb. Do at your own risk. When the rear comes around give it gas and turn the stearing wheel in the direction you want to go. I perfer 2nd gear. If you spin out to far let go of the e-brake and you'll straighten out. I usually relise the e-brake half way through the slid. It takes alot of practice, start in empty paking lot. Knowing how to control a slide can save you'r behind. I can get my car to side easlly with the snow tires, but not with the bridgestone re-950's tire in the rain. With the snows you can do a donut at a dead stop. Just roll fowared in 1st turn the wheel and then punchit and pull the e-break at the same time. The rear will start to slide out.

No offense, man, but thats a *little* irresponsible. Why not keep life easier on everyone and just drive safely and normally. The winter roads are not a drift track.

stupid snow.
:[

It's not my driving I'm worried about it's the other tards that i'm worried about.I drive very cautiously and slowly when it snows Around here the minute snow starts to fall everyone turns into an umpa lumpas it's retarded. Morons had I-93 and RT 3 completely gridlocked and not even an inch had fallen. Everyone seems to have a godlike mentality in their trucks and SUV's it's stupid. It is true that they do help in the snow but they are just as useless as our FWD cars when their not driving carefully.

Last year I almost got into an accident from this truck who slid coming off a turn going...40 in a snow storm. Then I got run off the road by SUV's and trucks hogging their fair share of the road.

Yep Welcome to New Hampshire. Same goes for MA. The problem is when it starts to snow most people don't change their driving habits because they think their safe because they have snow tires or a truck. The best snow tires can't save you if your drive like a moron.

The only thing I'm putting in my car other than the obvious is a baseball bat. The next jerk who thinks their are superior drivers in the snow gets a Louisiana slugger to the face.
