I'm guessing some '09's have already been sold, so this may be old news. But updated seat fabric is it? The xB has gotten an overall new look, the xA isn't even sold anymore is it?, and we have the newer xD. Seems like we would have seen a new tC somewhere in this four years doesn't it?

that because the tC has been extremely successful.
why change something that works?
as long as the sales continue to climb and dont take a nosedive then theres really no need to change it.
kinda like the supra. it did great for many years but then sales started to slow so they stopped producing it.

Touche
The first box ran for like 4 years didn't it?
I'd say 09 is the last year for the tc as we know it. But hopefully they'll keep making upgraded versions for older models to rob parts from - which I feel is a big reason it's been unchanged. Interchangeability

I remember reading somewhere awhile ago that one of the main ideas behind the Scion brand was to try to keep it from being what is considered a "norm." They don't want the tC to become the next Cavalier.
So they don't produce a 'ton' of them and switch it up every few years. And by 'ton,' I mean you don't find entire lots full of them. When I bought my car new in 06, it wasn't the easiest thing to find. I called a bunch of different dealerships looking for either a FM or BSP in manual.
1 dealership in the Chicagoland area had 1.

I agree. The Tc will never be a "fleet" car like the cavalier. I got an '09 this past summer and didn't get my first choice as far as the color, but I love the car I got! I think the bodystyle will change within 3yrs though.

I wish the tc doesn't change for couple more years, ppl are still buying them, and i agree with the idea that it's going to make my tc look obsolete. 2011 seems like a good year to model change :D
i'm pretty sure the Toybaru is going to be the new tC. I doubt scion will change anything between now and then, maybe new lights or something stupid like that but until then I doubt it'll be a whole new car.

Promark - the tC actually has pretty good resale value. I"ve seen used tC's (06-08 ) with more miles than my car (for reference i'm just under 28k and have an 07) go for just as much if not MORE than what i bought mine for brand new. The fact is the tC is still in high demand by consumers. Trade in values for the tC aren't terrible either

Just remember, when they remodel the tC, your car will look old and busted.
