Default Door Sensor

The sensor on the drivers door to detect whether the door is open/closed is inoperative. The dealer replaced the sensor itself ( http://www.toypets.ru/products_pictu...-12160_100.JPG ), and I still have the same problems. Headlights don't turn off automatically, dome lights don't turn on, car auto-re-locks because it doesn't know the door is open.

What else could cause this problem?

If its under warranty, id take it back to them, else it has to be a wiring issue, more than likely at the plug at the sensor, youd have to start checking with a dmm to see where the fault is.

I had this problem for awhile. I don't know what made it happen, but it fixed itself.

I think you should take your car back to the dealer and fix the problem. Its most probably the wiring problem.

Yeah, go back to the dealership if it's under warranty.
They need to fix it.
