Dog leaves mark (poopoo/peepee) on their "land" if they like it so much and wanted it to be their "place". The dog definitely love your tC

 

my dog left one like that on my leather, in my old Lexus. Not only that, he scratched the interior with his nails! Since then, I tie all dogs down to the front seat rail if they get the privlidge to ride in a car. Not only does it makes things easier, it's actually safer for the dog. Just ask a CHP officer how many dogs they have to scoop off the highway. Even if your dog doesn't jump for the windows, you don't want projectiles in your car. And the very last thing you want as a projectile is your dog. It's much safer if the dog is slammed into the seat, than flying through your window or exploding inside the car.
