just what i was looking at today, my mom and dad got me a basic point and shoot so now I am sort of addicted and already want a better camera.

 

Yeh I have a canon sd1200is! However I am getting more and more into photograph and have been searching around for good deals and ran across this and could not pass up, plus there are so many great reviews on this camera.

What made you decide to go from nikon to canon. i was looking to get this deal on Canon EOS Rebel XSI Black Digital Camera w/ 18-55mm IS Lens & Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS Lens. And Free Sandisk 4GB SD Ultra II Memory Card for $684.00 with promotional code.

 

D40 was pretty small in my hands, learned a lot on it but i didn't like that fact that i had to buy AF-S lenses for it since non AF-S lenses wont autofocus on it . I also got a deal on it (XSi). Got it with the kit lens for $400. There's more to it but I can't think of it right now. Don't get me wrong, the D40 is a great beginner camera. I loved mine.
