Default dumb **Beep* people

i was at a red light today. left turn signal turns green. guy to the left of me runs the red thinking its green. woman behind me slams into me...

end result?

fractured rear bumper
F*Uped up alignment.

why don't people pay attention when they drive?

my virgin accident record had to be popped on the Tc... =(

sorry man. Cybers right. I'm supprised at the umber of tC's in accidents so far. Maybe because they're so popular and the ratio is normal?

It's probably because they are too busy staring at your tC and not paying enough attention to the road.

I agree. I have been getting some wide-eyed looks from people trying to figure out what my car is. Guess it does not help that I de-badged it. I just hope that my car stays away from those crazies that don't watch lights.

i called scion to ask them about the accident problem and when they're going to recall the tC and fix it so people don't run into them and they pretended like they didn't know what I was talking about. what a crock.

Seriously, younger average driver = more accidents, more stupid kids soing sht to them, etc. (I also don't trust a lot of drivers to give the full, accurate description of what happened, so what seems like someone else's fault may not be entirely their fault.)

As far as people hitting stationary tCs, yeah, probably staring and not driving.

It's always that way. Go to any forum with a new model and you'll see tons of posts about people crashing or getting hit. WRXs, Mazdaspeed Proteges, Mazda3s, I've seen the same pattern with all of them. I don't think they have more accidents, you just see more posts about it since the owners of new models tend to be members of online communities.

Every member of this forum community will post when something happens to their car... just a way of venting. I know when something happens to my baby I will too.

How many are part of this thing... thousands? I'm surprised we don't hear about more accidents and damage.

First tC hubby spotted (just after we bought the Azure, and waiting for the Indigo) was on his way home from work. Oh I know, you are thinking no big deal. Thirty day tags ... ON ITS ROOF on 495 in MD. When we picked up the Indigo tC, told the Scion manager about it, thought he was gonna cry judging by the look on his face.

I used to live in MD, there are waaaay too many stupid people there that are allowed to drive. High school kids especially, I am a junior in college and I still remember seeing some of the dumbest things being done in the parking lot of the high school.
