Default e manage questions

Does anyone know if you were to put an emanage would it actually help and make a difference?

only makes a worthwhile difference if your car is boosted. otherwise it doesn't make a noticible gain.

Systems like the emanage are used to tune things like engine timings and fuel flow into the engine. They're meant to replace functionality that the cars ECU (engine control unit) usually takes care of. Systems like that are only really useful if you already have mods on the car, like a turbocharger, intake, etc that would make using the factory ECU worthless or even dangerous. So, unless you have mods, don't waste your money on something like the emanage.

It's only useful if you have supporting mods. And unless you live in an emission **** state, don't put that piece of junk on your car unless you wait around for the VVT-i tuning v-manage to compliment it. I'd personally go standalone just so you can tune cam angles to build hp/boost on top of hp/boost. Look at this dyno of a GTS owner that went from an emanage + CAMCON tune to a standalone ECU tune with a better VVT-i tuning interface:

He gained 22+ whp in the midrange, right before the 2nd cam switch off.
